Dreamweaver: Changing Status Bar Messages
The Status Bar is located at the bottom left of your Browser
Window and displays both a default message and the URL for any
links the user mouses over.
Step 1: Getting Started
- Begin with either a new document or an existing one you'd
like to apply the Status Bar Message to. We'll apply the
Status Text to the Link in the next step, "Behaviors Panel".
- Select the text or object you want to apply the Status
Text to. I will highlight the words "Behaviors Panel. In the
Behaviors Panel, select Set Text>Set Text of Status Bar.
- The Set Text of Status Bar dialog window will open. Enter
any text you would like to have displayed. Click OK when
you're finished.
Step 2: Tesing Your Page
Preview In Browser by hitting F12 and look at the Status Bar
message.
That's all there is to it. Now the hard part: going thru the
entire site and changing all the messages:( |
