This is a quick way to achieve rounded corners on your images.

Step 1: Getting Started

  1. Open an image
  2. Import or open any image you want to use

Step 2: Creating a Rounded Rectangle

  1. Choose a Black fill color or another dark color. The lighter the color you choose the ligher your masked image will be.
  2. Select either the Rectangle Tool or the Rounded Rectangle Tool
  3. Click and drag to draw a rounded rectangle over your image.

If you selected the Rectangle Tool, you can adjust the roundness of the corners by using the Up and Down arrow keys on your keyboard WHILE still holding down the mouse button.

Step 3: Creating the Mask

  1. Select bothshapes by clicking and dragging a selection around them or click Command-A/Control-A
  2. With both shapes selected, go up to Modify>Mask>Group as Mask.
  3. This will create the rounded effect.
